Michael Davis | Chair of Governors at Capital City College and Chief Executive of NatCen | LinkedIn

Michael is the Chief Executive of the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen), the UK’s leading independent organisation for social research. Prior to joining NatCen, Michael held senior leadership positions at Kantar, where he served as Chief Business Performance Officer, and Ecorys as UK Managing Director, an international policy research and consultancy firm. He also served as Chief Executive of the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, where he led initiatives to improve vocational training and employment opportunities.

Michael is strong advocate for further education, serving as Chair of Governors of Capital City College. His commitment to vocational education recognised by a Fellowship from the London City & Guilds Institute in 2016. Over the years Michael has held a number of Non-Exec and advisory roles in both the public and private sector covering education, employment, and small businesses; once Chairman of a photographic accessory manufacturer. Michael was recently appointed a Trustee of the RSA.

Nicolina Andall | Judicial Appointments Commissioner and Deputy Chair of the London Recruitment Advisory Committee at the Lord Chancellor’s Department, Ministry of Justice | LinkedIn

Nicolina is a distinguished Portfolio Non-Executive Director and Corporate Commercial General Counsel (Solicitor) with over 20 years of experience. She serves as a Judicial Appointments Commissioner (Appointing Judges) and Deputy Chair of the London Recruitment Advisory Committee, Lord Chancellor’s Department (Appointing Magistrates). She was appointed by the Law Society in 2025 to sit on the King’s Counsel Selection Panel.

She is a Senior Independent Panel Member making Ministerial Recommendations for Chairs, NEDs and SIDs and has sat on selection panels for Ofcom, MoJ, DfT and the Parole Board. Nicolina’s professional legal career spans senior executive roles in the City and global engineering companies. She is a renowned advocate for diversity in leadership, founding “Inspiring Diverse Leaders” in 2022 and merging with EPOC in 2024. Her expertise is recognised through her role as an expert speaker for the Financial Times NED Post Graduate diploma course and her inclusion in the Cranfield 100 Women to Watch list 2020. In 2024, she received an Honorary Doctorate in Law for her impactful work in Law and Diversity.

Julia is a highly respected Chair, Non-Executive Director, and infrastructure specialist with nearly 30 years’ experience driving transformational change across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. Known for her ability to navigate complexity and unlock strategic value, Julia has shaped the direction of some of the UK’s most nationally significant regeneration and infrastructure projects, overseeing initiatives valued at up to £7 billion.

Nationally recognised as a leader in the real estate development and infrastructure sector, Julia combines deep commercial acumen with public policy insight. Her board portfolio spans FTSE-listed, government-owned, and private organisations, with a strong track record in corporate governance, risk oversight, and stakeholder engagement. Julia currently serves as Chair, Senior Independent Director, and as a Non-Executive Director in a range of companies.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (FCIHT), Julia is also the co-founder of InfraNEDs, an international network supporting and inspiring women in infrastructure and real estate to pursue board careers. In recognition of her lifelong contribution to the sector and commitment to gender diversity in leadership, she was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Business Women Awards in 2023.
