This is a high-profile leadership opportunity for a seasoned programme professional with a proven track record delivering complex Salesforce-led transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee a large-scale programme that will transform volunteer services, business processes, technology platforms and user experience, ensuring long-term organisational impact and successful adoption of new digital capabilities.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of a strategically important transformation programme comprising multiple interdependent workstreams, stakeholders and suppliers.

You will be responsible for driving delivery, establishing robust governance, managing programme risks and dependencies, and ensuring benefits are realised across the organisation.

This role requires a confident and collaborative leader who can operate effectively at executive level while maintaining focus on delivery, stakeholder engagement and organisational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a complex digital transformation programme from delivery through to benefits realisation.
  • Oversee Salesforce implementation and wider business transformation activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective programme governance frameworks.
  • Manage programme budgets, resources, timelines and reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate programme risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, programme boards and external partners.
  • Drive business readiness, change management and user adoption activities.
  • Ensure transformation outcomes align with organisational objectives and strategic priorities.

About You

We’re keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience delivering large-scale Salesforce CRM transformation programmes.
  • Strong background in Salesforce solution delivery, business process redesign, operating model change, data migration and adoption.
  • Experience managing complex programmes with multiple workstreams and multi-million-pound budgets.
  • Deep understanding of programme governance, reporting and risk management.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives and programme boards.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing third-party technology suppliers.
  • A pragmatic, collaborative leadership style with the ability to drive outcomes in complex environments.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within membership organisations, charities, volunteer-led organisations or customer/member-focused transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Recognised programme or project management qualification such as MSP, APM, PPQ, ChPP or equivalent.
  • Experience working within volunteer-powered organisations and understanding the challenges and opportunities this presents.
