We are seeking an experienced Digital and Data Executive to provide interim maternity leave cover. This post will be for one year.
As the Interim Chief Digital & Data Officer you will continue the leadership of the implementation of our Digital and Data strategy which is framed in supporting our organisation to achieve its vision as set out in our Organisational Strategy .
Our Organisational Strategy ‘More than a Hospital’ (2022-2030) sets a clear plan for improvements in healthcare and you have a role to play, in leading the Digital and Data teams, to ensure high quality, safe and effective, digital infrastructure and robust data security systems are embedded to support the delivery of world class-quality patient care and experience
Main duties of the job
You will engage with clinical and non-clinical colleagues fostering a digital culture, capability and vision to transform service delivery and ensure that the benefits and opportunities of digital and data driven transformation are realised. Better never stops and we want to build on momentum created, to be at the forefront of innovation and realise the potential of digitalisation to deliver effective and efficient service provision. Digitally enabled pathways informed by data offer exciting opportunities to create a more connected, responsive and patient-centred healthcare system.
This role is a key component of our Executive Chief Officer team, accountable for UHCW performance and success – you will be a critical Board member, and we therefore seek someone who has operated at this level. Working alongside our Digital and Data Corporate Directors who will continue to lead operational business you will have a proven track record in the following:
