Interim Head of Digital Programmes

Location: London (hybrid)

Salary: 80-90k, 9 months Fixed term contract

Anderson Quigley is looking for an experienced and innovative leader to drive our client’s digital transformation programme, inspiring teams and delivering measurable innovation, efficiencies, and new capabilities that create real value for their stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Digital Data and Technology you will lead a team comprising project support, CRM support, Digital transformation lead and business analysis. You will also be required to recruit further talent into this team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for the programme and play a positive and engaged role in the leadership team.
• Develop, inspire, mentor and lead a team in a culture of continuous development.
• Align the service objectives to the overall strategy, and ensure the objectives set are achievable within agreed timescales.
• Champion a culture of professional excellence, user-centred design, and outstanding customer service.
• Deliver innovative solutions that improve outcomes and enhance stakeholder experience.
• Work with the digital programme team and finance team to develop project and departmental budgets.
• Governance, risk and compliance, review and oversee implementation of mitigating actions.

What we’re looking for:

 Senior-level experience in digital programme management, reporting to Director level.

• Proven track record of achieving strategic goals through digital programmes.
• Expertise in leading high-performing project teams and managing budgets.
• Understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, and their potential to drive efficiency and growth.
• Knowledge of project and product management, user-centred design, and change management methodologies.
• Collaborative leadership style with excellent influencing and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in not-for-profit or professional membership organisations.
