Are you a visionary leader passionate about mental wellbeing, happiness, and social impact? Do you have experience guiding organisations towards growth and meaningful change? 

Action for Happiness is looking for an inspiring Chair of the Board of Trustees to lead us into our next chapter. As our Chair, you will play a vital role in shaping strategy, strengthening governance, and helping us expand our reach to create a happier, healthier society.

Leading our diverse and committed Board in setting ambitious strategic goals, you will support and collaborate with our CEO to drive impactful initiatives. A Champion of our work externally; you will have the networks and ability to build partnerships, increasing our visibility, and supporting our fundraising efforts  You will ensure strong governance, compliance, and safeguarding across our organisation  and help us scale our impact by opening new doors and building powerful relationships.

We will require a strategic thinker with experience of chairing a Board or leading at a senior level. – An advocate of our work with a solid understanding of governance, charities, and social enterprise, you will have a strong track record of building productive working relationships. An empathetic, emotionally intelligent leader who values diversity and inclusion, you will easily demonstrate your commitment to making a real difference through social impact and wellbeing.
