Anderson Quigley is delighted to be supporting a large Mental Health Trust in the South of England with an Interim requirement to support a comprehensive review of all adult mental health services.

Objective

To conduct a comprehensive service review of the Adult Mental Health Teams, Crisis and Urgent Care and Community Hubs. The aim being to evaluate the current service delivery, identify areas for improvement, and develop an actionable options appraisal or recommendations to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and patient outcomes. The review will also focus on aligning services with best practices ensuring they meet the needs of the community.

You will –

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the existing services and complete a SWOT analysis of the findings
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the current service delivery models, workflows and processes
  • Engage with all key stakeholders and service users to gather insights, feedback through surveys and focus groups
  • Compare services with best practice, and identify models and strategies from other NHS Trusts
  • Use data to identify trends and analyse performance

Outcome

You will be responsible for –

  • Develop an options appraisal with a set of actionable recommendations to enhance service delivery and efficiency
  • Provide a detailed action plan with timeframes, resource requirements and KPI’s for implementation

Person

The trust is looking for –

  • An NHS experienced expert in adult mental health services with an operational background in managing adult mental health services
  • A clinical qualification would be an advantage (RMN for example)
  • Knowledge of best practices, policies and NHS Structures in adult mental health care
  • A proven track record of completing comprehensive service reviews
  • Ability to bring a strategic perspective and look at the services holistically not in isolation
  • Programme management skills and experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills

Commercials

  • 3 months
  • Band 8c/d
  • You will be required to travel across the county to all the sites
  • There will be some hybrid working for report writing
  • Inside IR35

The client has availability to interview w/c 2nd December and requires a pre-Christmas start.
