South West Audit Partnership (SWAP), is an award-winning, independent not-for-profit internal audit company, seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive our mission of enhancing the efficiency, productivity, and governance of public sector organisations across the UK.

SWAP is a recognised leader in the field of internal audit, dedicated to elevating corporate governance, risk management, and internal control systems for our partners and clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a CEO who can further strengthen our financial viability and expand our influence across local, regional, and national levels.

In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to shape and implement our corporate strategy, ensuring robust governance and identify new income streams to secure SWAP’s future. In your ambassadorial capacity as CEO of SWAP, you will collaborate with senior leaders across both public and private sectors, leveraging your commercial expertise to forge lasting partnerships.

We are seeking a proven leader with an impressive track record in internal audit and business leadership. Your experience should demonstrate not only commercial acumen but also significant success in income generation. You will also appreciate how the digital technologies can drive efficiencies and improve our effectiveness and collaboration . Political astuteness and a deep understanding of local government operations are crucial for navigating the complexities of this senior role.
