Are you a strategic-minded Lead Solution Architect seeking an influencing role for a forward-thinking organisation?

We are looking to speak to Solution Architects who would be enthused by line managing a small team of solution specialists and overseeing and supporting Girlguiding’s Senior Delivery Manager. This role reports into the Head of Digital, is vital in the delivery of Girlguiding’s Digital Futures strategy insofar as ensuring the overall solution and roadmap aligns to the business case and technology design principles. Collaborating with key stakeholders will be key, whilst making influential technology decisions in order to achieve a composable architecture framework.

Essential skills for this position include:

  • Strong communication and influencing skills to achieve consensus and build effective relationships with key stakeholders and third parties.
  • Ability to analyse, develop and evaluate solution options, benefits and risks, to solve problems and align with business outcomes.
  • Technology leader with significant experience in the design and implementation of enterprise solutions and management of technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of technology architectures, SaaS platforms and cloud environments including Microsoft stack.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.
