Head of IT Systems

LOCATION: Greenford, London (potential for location on another site in East London, Birmingham, Manchester, or Leeds). This role requires you to be onsite, there is no hybrid working available.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an accomplished leader to manage the IT Systems function for our private Education client. As Head of IT Systems you will lead, analyse, plan, and have oversight of their systems portfolio and application architecture. This will include delivering a roadmap to implement and manage their systems and their integration along with a programme of continuous improvement and enhancements to the Student Management System, ERP, HR Management and other corporate applications. This will include responsibility for fit-for-purpose system architecture and integration between the core-systems.

You will lead a team of technology staff, partners and vendors across data and systems infrastructure, such as Azure Services while ensuring that the correct delivery metrics and Key Performance Indicators are in place, managing key stakeholder engagement and execute suitable communications and training plans.

YOU

You will be an experienced systems manager, a leader of people, and be able to demonstrate experience of managing complex digital environments with the following skills/qualifications –

• A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or Computer Applications, or Information Systems or equivalent.
• Extensive years of experience within complex Cloud digital transformation environments, including a minimum of 5 plus years in a technology leadership role in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
• Demonstrable experience of managing implementation and BAU of SMS, ERP or similar migration of various scope and scale.
• Hands-on experience of implementing and maintaining IT systems with a track record of delivering projects/solutions that are supporting business outcomes, balancing priorities and delivery focused.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with business process mapping, project planning, execution, and control. AGILE PM Practitioner and ITIL certified.
• Sound understanding of systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP, CRP, DMS, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, IT tools, media asset management and similar.
• Good understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain Management is also desirable.
