Attractive Salary – East Grinstead / Hybrid Working

Queen Victoria NHS Foundation Trust (QVH) is a specialist NHS hospital providing life-changing reconstructive surgery, burns care and rehabilitation services for people across the South of England. Their world-leading clinical teams also treat common conditions of the hands, eyes, skin, and teeth for the people of East Grinstead and the surrounding areas. In addition, QVH provides a minor injuries unit, expert therapies, a sleep service, and a growing portfolio of community-based services. Patients consistently rate QVH amongst the top hospitals in the country for quality of care.

As QVH enters an exciting new chapter in its history, the Trust are seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO), to lead the workforce and organisational development functions, ensuring that they serve the needs of clinical and non-clinical departments across the Trust and work in collaboration with staff and staff representatives.  Maintaining a fully engaged and supported, well-motivated, highly skilled, and high-performing workforce,  the CPO will transform the workforce to ensure it is fit for the future, while fostering the best aspects of QVH’s organisational culture, specifically compassion, inclusivity, and fairness.

Ambitious, highly visible, engaging, you will easily demonstrate your track record of success in delivering a programme of organisational development initiatives, designed to shape an organisations culture. Whether from inside or outside of the NHS, you will have strong leadership skills; able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to affect transformational change. Your ability to inspire others and set out a clear strategic direction will be underpinned by your belief in a set of values which demonstrate commitment to the organisation and its future.
