Appointment of the Finance Director

Welcome

Thanks for your interest in joining Escape Studios as our new Finance Director.

It’s an exciting time for Escape Studios. Recently ranked number one in the world for production excellence in immersive media by The Rookies and in the top 6% of institutions for graduate employability, we’re poised to enter a new period of expansion as we invite international students for the first time, build capacity in our existing portfolio of world-leading courses, and bring new programmes to market in a range of innovative areas where only Escape Studios can offer the peerless industry links combined with robust higher education quality.

As a key member of our Executive team, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial future of Escape Studios in alignment with our new strategy and ambitious growth plans.

Dynamic, innovative, and collaborative, you will lead our financial vision, ensuring effective financial management and embedding a culture of financial ownership and accountability throughout the organisation. You will provide strategic financial planning and analysis, advising the board and Executive team on opportunities for growth, whilst also overseeing the operational aspects of finance on a day-to-day basis. Even here there will be opportunity to innovate as we transition away from a services model to new, modern in-house systems built from the ground up and able to scale as the organisation grows.

Your leadership will be instrumental as we navigate this pivotal moment following Escape Studios’ acquisition in 2023. The role offers a blend of strategic and operational responsibilities, providing the opportunity to make a tangible impact on Escape Studios’ future success. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are passionate about higher education and the creative industries, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.
