We have created the new Department for Design and Digital Arts which will provide new and exciting opportunities in course provision, bringing together art, design, technology and business within a landmark new building, the Design & Digital Arts Building, which opens in 2024.
Our new Deputy Head of Department will support the Head of Department in the delivery of this ambitious strategic vision, which enhances the future of art and design education at Nottingham Trent. A strong leadership team to lead and manage the Department going forward will ensure that we maximise on the exciting opportunities that the new building and increased courses provide for, ensuring the Department and School’s position as one of the leading providers of creative, technology-led curriculum both nationally and internationally.
We are looking for an individual with a deep background in the broad area of digital arts and are open to considering expertise from industry. What is important is that you have an understanding of new technologies in this area and how they can be applied. You must be a good leader and team player with a positive attitude and vision to help build an ambitious vision for the Department.
