Estates and Campus Services is a large multi-disciplinary directorate, responsible for the long-term planning, development, maintenance and management of Oxford Brookes’ estate as well as providing a range of services that are essential for the smooth running of the University as a whole.

As our new Head of Space Planning, you will lead a team that supports the development of briefs for space and deals with arrangements for ambitious and exciting plans to both vacate and occupy space. You will be responsible for the CAD and BIM services and the database to support the collection of statistics. You will manage furniture and signage for Oxford Brookes and be responsible for room utilisation reports and post occupancy evaluation processes.

With infrastructure and services being a major pillar of our strategic plan, the role of Head of Space Planning is an important one in the wider leadership of this crucial area. In this role, the Head of Space Planning has the opportunity to influence the look and feel of the University’s spaces and strategic direction of the Directorate. It requires an experienced senior professional who can work in a diverse stakeholder environment to resolve complex space management issues.
