Anderson Quigley is delighted to be supporting a large university to identify an Interim Director of Student Recruitment & Admissions. This is a 6-month opportunity until the university appoints permanently.
Reporting to the Pro Vice Chancellor Education, the successful candidate will lead, develop and implement the home recruitment and admissions strategy for the university. With the aim of growing market share, increasing applications, growing acceptances and enrolments.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for providing the overall direction, operational delivery and strategic leadership to the recruitment and admissions team, developing a robust plan which delivers sector-leading recruitment initiatives, strong partnerships with schools, colleges and other relevant stakeholders and high-quality conversion to enrolment.
Working with the Pro Vice Chancellor Education, Executive Director of Marketing, Communications and PR, senior leadership team and external stakeholders, this role will support the university in achieving the objectives of its strategic plan, academic ambition and associated strategies, with a particular emphasis on the development and recruitment of home students.
We are looking for someone who has deep HE experience, someone who is data savvy, understands the student recruitment rhythm and who is able to confidently make recommendations for in cycle improvements and quick wins. A passion for transformation is important as is the ability to spot where things are not working and make changes that create immediate impact.
