Attractive Salary – Hybrid Working

The Herefordshire and Worcestershire (H&W) Integrated Care System (ICS) has strong and stable leadership across its two places and primary care networks, with excellent support from local authority and voluntary sector partners. With a strong commitment to collectively improve patient safety and quality, the Herefordshire and Worcestershire system has strong foundations upon which to use collective resources to address local challenges and improve outcomes for the people they serve.

Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICS are now recruiting for an Executive Chief Nurse (ECN), an influential and crucial executive role accountable for the development and delivery of the long-term clinical strategy of the Integrated Care Board (ICB), ensuring it reflects and integrates the strategies of all relevant partner organisations within the ICS. By building partnerships and collaborating with provider collaboratives, public health, local government, other partners, and local people, you will help to deliver better access, improvements in life outcomes and reductions in health inequity.

Pragmatic with a can-do attitude, you will ideally bring a track record of clinical leadership experience from a provider organisation. Whether a director already or eager to make the next step up, you will have excellent co-ordination skills as well as the ability to effectively work with a broad range of partners, drawing on well-developed skills of persuasion and negotiation.

You will know how to facilitate transformational change and help drive innovation in clinical outcomes, creating and influencing leadership relationships and wide scale system change enabling system development opportunities to improve the population health of the ICS. Committed to the wellbeing of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire workforce, and equality and diversity, your ability to role model the values and behaviours of the ICB, and demonstrate compassionate leadership are fundamental requirements.
