Anderson Quigley is currently supporting a large London based university to identify a Programme Director to deliver a transformation in academic workforce and governance. This is a 3-year fixed term contract with an immediate start.

Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Vice Chancellor you will be responsible for leading a 3-year transformation programme that delivers a new academic structure that benefits students and their experience.

The transformation is solely driven by the desire to improve the student experience and satisfaction across the university. This role requires someone who is customer centric and can build positive relationships with key stakeholders, build a compelling narrative and take a diverse group of people on a change journey.

The successful candidate will have a previous experience of delivering academic restructures and proven experience of change management within higher education.

As the successful candidate, you will carry out a research exercise right across the academic model and then implement a programme of change to design the university that give students the best experience and outcome. Overarching objective include:

  • By the end of first year have an approved new academic structure with defined job roles and responsibilities
  • Produce a new set of policies and a governance structure that is fit for purpose
  • Year 2 & 3 is negotiation and implementation to have the new structure fully in place by end of year 3
