PRESS RELEASE

Supporting a night to champion our inspirational women.  Anderson Quigley is demonstrating its commitment to gender equality by supporting the nation’s main event in recognising the remarkable achievements of inspirational women.

The Womenspire Awards 2019 will highlight the accomplishments and contributions of women in every aspect of life and Anderson Quigley is proud to be sponsoring the Board Member award.

Now in their fourth year, the awards are run by Wales’ leading gender equality charity, Chwarae Teg and will take place at St Fagans National Museum of History in Cardiff on Thursday 4th July.

The ceremony will see individual women awarded across 11 categories and there will be two awards for organisations who are taking action to improve diversity and enable women to progress and thrive in the workplace.

“We are delighted to be sponsoring the Board Member category as it enables us to connect with talent and employers who acknowledge, identify, support and promote women in business, particularly at board level. Celebrating the achievements of such an outstanding group of women at such a high profile event encourages more institutions and organisations to sit up and take note and we hope that it will continue to change attitudes and create balance.”

Louise David from Chwarae Teg said: “Womenspire is an awards ceremony like no other, full of incredible real life stories. It truly celebrates and showcases the talents, passions and accomplishments of Welsh women, and aims to inspire future generations. I would encourage anyone who wants an amazing evening of entertainment and to be truly inspired to book tickets now.”
