Appointment of the London Campus Director - Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, Nottingham Trent University

Thank you for your interest in working with us in the key role of Confetti London Campus Director.

I founded Confetti in 1994 – as a former music producer, I was frustrated by the lack of opportunities for people from all backgrounds to be able to learn about the music industry from those who were in it.  I couldn’t see anywhere that did that authentically. Almost 30 years later we are now a leading provider of creative industry education and training and since 2015 we are proud to be a part of one of the UK’s most popular and trailblazing universities – Nottingham Trent University.

Confetti sits at the heart of a family of businesses known as the Confetti Media Group. They all work in synergy to develop and support those working and aspiring to work in the creative and entertainment industries. And it is an exciting time to be working with us.  We have just our ambition to create Confetti London – a sister campus to our Nottingham hub.

If you join us, you can expect to be part of a rewarding creative scene, one that champions an entrepreneurial approach to education and business, and that strives for excellence in all it does.  I thank you for your interest and wish you luck with your application.

Confetti London

Our London Vision

A growing generation of young people in London and the South-East are looking to enter vocational education, and located in Whitechapel – London’s centre for the creative industries – Confetti London will have just what they need to launch them into their careers. In 2023, Confetti and Nottingham Trent University will expand into London with the creation of a new campus dedicated to delivering pioneering creative education aligned to the entertainment industries.

Opening in September, Confetti London will replicate Confetti’s award-winning Nottingham campus – it will be a high-end digital and multi-purpose campus, situated in the bustling district of Whitechapel.

The new campus will include a 600-capacity multipurpose venue, which will host live music, entertainment and esports, along with specialist studios and teaching spaces. Students looking to forge a future in the entertainment industries will be able to study hands-on courses in performance, production and business for the music industries, event management, and emerging technologies such as esports, virtual production, and content creation. Courses will be open to both UK and international students, with undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications available.

Our growth plans for London are focused on building and maintaining a quality provision. There are many UK universities with London operations, we are clear that the Confetti and Nottingham Trent University offer will stand out from day one because of the unrivalled facilities and the backing of the country’s leading modern university.

Nottingham Meets London

We’ve been delivering leading edge creative industry education since 1994, whilst creating a unique suite of commercial businesses that supports the student learning experience. These include Metronome, a music and events venue, and Confetti X, a complex dedicated to esports production which recently hosted the Commonwealth Esports Championships qualifiers. Our London campus will replicate that model, creating a multipurpose live events venue for students to learn and work in.

Reflecting the course offer in Nottingham, the student experience will be underpinned by a proven curriculum, world-class learning opportunities, and extensive industry connections. This will allow students from campuses in Nottingham and London to collaborate on live projects, access work experience across the UK, and spend parts of their study across both campuses. It will offer new progression routes for Confetti college-level students from Nottinghamshire to study in one of the world’s leading commercial, financial, and cultural centres.

This ambitious plan will be strengthened by the relocation of Access Creative College’s London centre onto the same campus. The UK’s largest independent training provider, specialising in creative education, will provide its students with the opportunity to continue their studies in London with support from Confetti and NTU.
